Dr. Kumar's 60th Birthday Celebration

Dr. Kumar had graciously given the members of the turf club a wonderful dinner. It was only 4 dishes but it was a wonderful 4 dishes where the food was so abundant we had trouble finishing it off.

We also had 4 cakes to signify every 15th year ala the tennis game. 15-0, 30-0, 40-0 and Game!

DeepaRaya Dinner @ Dr. Anoops House

The DeepaRaya do was held at Dr. Anoops beautiful house this year. The setting for the dinner was wonderful and lavish and the food was great. We had lots of drinks and we even had our very own bartender! Many thanks to Richard for his bartending skills. It has come to our attention that your drinks kept the ladies happy for the night and their husbands thank you for it!! :P

There were darts and pool mini competitions going on throughout the night and Dr. Ong Chew Wui showed his wily skills at pool sharking! Top player!

A little bird also told me that Kiko and Anoop's sons' challenged Dr. Yee and his partner to a pool match but Dr. Yee "could" not play as apparently some one else wanted to play them! I leave that remark for your own intepretation... but the word is that someone was afraid to lose to the kids! :) Rumours I am sure they were!!

We also celebrated the November babies birthdays! And lots of pictures and videos were taken. Here are some of them...

The oldest and youngest of the Club... also the skinniest and the largest? :)

Wan Kong's Induction Game & Dinner

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Please welcome our newest member to the club -  Wan Kong. To celebrate hisinduction into the club a game between Tony-Wan  Kong vs. Kiko-Pinky was set up. I believe the score was in favour of Kiko & Pinky but as usual I am not too sure (The hazards of leaving the posting and updating of this blog so late). But anyhow, the scores don't matter - only the "rubbing" one gets after the game does!

The food was good and the spirits were high - party went on till late and the lights had to come on! :)

Welcome Wan Kong and we hope you enjoy our friendship, camaraderie and oh yeah... tennis too... :)

Just remember, we may not play as good game of tennis but we can talk a great game!
