Match Of The Month (MOTM) for March 2013

It was a bright and sunny day... the weather was blistering hot and the play on court even more so... Service winners and return winners were abundant. Long and unbelievable rallies were the forte of the day. Each and every point brought awe and spectators were kept on the edge of their seat... Australian Open? Nah... it was the MOTM between Dr. Roslan and Dr. Kumar vs. Gopi and Loke Fu. It was a nail biting finish but someone had to prevail...

In the end after the dust had settled the Doctors emerged worthy victors with a 9-8 score after a closely fought tie break. Congrats to the victors and commiserations to the vanquished... better luck next time.

This was followed by a wonderful dinner at Han City where as usual the whisky was free flowing and as usual the spirits were high... The victors were modest and the vanquished were gracious. Not so for Dr. Yee who had to "suffer the slings and arrows of his outrageous fortune" because he had lost his bet on Gopi and Loke Fu...

Many new match ups has been set up and hopefully the pool of MOTM players will increase...

As usual no one thought to take pictures of the match... :p

Ah well... the next one should have some pictures... hopefully... Till then... au revoir!

2013 Chinese New Year Do!

Having updated you guys on last years revelries its time to get you guys and girls abreast of the latest developments and events... which is the 2013 CNY Makan which was again in Kinta Riverfront Hotel.

The food was good, the spirits were high and the rubbing by the winners of the Match of the Month Tony and Che Mat who beat Dr. Guna and Dr. Yee was hilarious and would have left the doctors feeling a little raw... A rematch perhaps?? We'll see...
